Custom software, built around your business.
Quoting, job management, scheduling, operations — the systems your business actually runs on, built to match how it actually works, and owned by you outright.
Your core process lives in tools that almost fit.
A subscription that does 70% of the job. A spreadsheet that patches the gap. A senior staff member who spends Friday re-keying data between them. Every "almost fits" is paid for in staff time, every day — and at the end of the year, you own none of it.
Custom software flips that: the system matches the business instead of the business bending around the system, and every dollar builds an asset on your balance sheet instead of rent.
- Quoting, job management and workflow systems built around your rules
- Replacement of subscription tools the business has outgrown
- Replacement of legacy systems that can no longer be maintained
- Integration with the accounting and operational tools you keep
- Full ownership from day one — code in your repository, your accounts, your documentation
Built in sprints. Shipped monthly. Never abandoned.
Custom systems are delivered in two-week sprints with a working demo at the end of each one, then maintained under the retainer with a production release every month. Software is never finished — so we never walk away. The full model, including SLAs and code ownership →
Custom software, plainly answered.
01How much does custom software cost in Australia?
It varies with scope, which is why we quote in writing after one scoping conversation — either a fixed price for a defined build, or a flat monthly retainer that covers build, maintenance and releases together. What's changed recently: AI-accelerated development means a senior team now delivers in weeks what used to take months, which has brought ownership within reach of small and mid-sized businesses. As a sanity check, compare any quote against what you pay every year for the subscriptions and staff workarounds the system would replace.
02Custom software vs off-the-shelf — how do we decide?
Buy off-the-shelf for commodity processes (accounting, email, documents — nobody should rebuild Xero or Microsoft 365). Build when the process is how your business competes: the quoting logic, the job flow, the pricing rules that off-the-shelf tools force you to work around. If off-the-shelf genuinely fits, we'll tell you before you spend anything — an honest 'don't build' is part of the service.
03Who owns the software when it's done?
You do — from day one, not at final payment. Every line of code is committed to your own repository under your account, along with documentation and infrastructure access. If you ever leave us, you keep everything and owe nothing further.
